Maciej Czerlonko

Maciej Czerlonko brings a strong foundation in business law, estate planning, and civil litigation to his work with clients in agricultural and rural communities. While originally from Des Plaines, Illinois, Maciej chose to make Wisconsin home after earning his law degree, developing a deep appreciation for the state’s agricultural legacy and rural way of life.  

Maciej earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School and, during law school, focused on helping local entrepreneurs and small business owners through the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic — gaining firsthand experience structuring business agreements and solving practical legal challenges that many farmers and ag-related enterprises face.

His practice includes areas that matter to agricultural clients, such as:

• Business Law & Contracts: Assisting farmers and rural business owners with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating business contracts, operating agreements, and legal documentation that keep operations protected and compliant.  

• Estate Planning & Property Planning: Helping families plan for the future, including wills, trusts, and asset transition strategies that can preserve farm assets and land for the next generation. 

• Civil Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Representing clients in business disputes, partner disagreements, and civil matters that often arise in farm and rural business contexts.  

• Probate & Administration: Guiding families through legal processes following the loss of a loved one — especially when real estate or family-held business interests are involved.

Although Maciej didn’t grow up on a farm, his time in Wisconsin has immersed him in rural communities where agriculture and small business are central to daily life. His background working with entrepreneurs and emerging businesses gives him a practical lens for helping farm families and ag-related enterprises protect their livelihoods and plan for long-term success.
